MARRIOT REFORMA

Located in one of the city's most iconic places, our goal was to celebrate the essence of the country through a carefully curated selection of traditional and contemporary elements.

Starting with the signature Marriott colors, we incorporated hues inspired by clay, succulents, earth, and the ashes of Popocatépetl. We blended dark stone with light wood, linen with leather and steel, creating a balance between the old and the classic, and what feels fresh in Mexican design today.

In the artwork, we aimed to highlight the land, but the shapes were designed to evoke the city's monuments and skyscrapers beneath the sky and the silhouette of the volcanoes. More than simply reminding our guests that they are in Mexico City, we wanted them to feel that they are in Mexico.

Overall, the room feels light and fresh—a contemporary atmosphere filled with details that add depth. The LED strips, the accents on the cushions, and the different lighting elements all contribute to a sense of warmth.
